  1. Kitty-Cat Man from FL writes about Emery Cat:

When my cats and I saw this product on television, we were in open-mouthed awe at the great strides in feline pedicure technology, and we sprinted to the phone like it was made of plump white Albacore. Mr. Vittles nearly pushed the phone out of my quivering hands as he tried desperately to speak to the operator himself. So the product came in the mail, and I am ashamed to say that we were all shocked at the shoddy quality. Frisky and Frosky ran up to the Emery Cat and audibly scoffed, while Lickums hid behind the credenza. I looked at Mr. Vittles and he looked back at me, and the both of us shrugged. Then we covered the whole device in filet mignon. Suddenly, Lady Catterly appeared and mounted the Emery Cat with unimaginable disgust. She was soon joined by Patches, and the two of them took turns urinating until they were both exhausted. My advice? Do not buy this product unless you own many, many sponges. I owned several sponges and I'm still inconsolable.

  2. Garry from Ar. writes about Worx GT Lithium-Ion string trimmer:

Trims good..Edges good ..Light & easy to handle ...This trimmer will not replace your grass trimmer for really tough jobs. It is strictly meant for small residential lots in the "burbs". You will only get about 25 min. of cutting time per charge. So if you have an avg. size city lot it should work for you.

Great tool at a low price. Rather than toxic chemicals you easily remove the hair clog. The tub version was too wide ended for tub, but the sink tool worked there also. Great tool for 10 bucks bought @ cvs so no shipping etc...

  7. Linda from La writes about Patch Perfect:

The seeds are 4 or 5 different kinds all mixed up. Mostly rye, which grows in the winter, bluegrass, and a couple others. Only half of what you plant will come up during a season, when it does grow for a year or so, you have 4 or 5 different kinds of grass, looks awful! Save your money!

  8. Kristine from Wa writes about flowbee:

We bought the original one when it first came out(i know they came out again w/ a cheaper model which is NOT near the quality of the 1st).We absolutely love it. It is still working like a charm as my husband uses it about once a week or week 1/2. He or my daughters use it on the grandsons and the son-in-laws have used it a time or too.Doesn't pull hair, cuts it perfectly and saves or at least over all these years has saved tons of money.Cudos to the inventor of this product. If i could give it 10 stars i would.

I love it.  bought 2.  I only put the charger in outlet when i need to recharge unit.  I empty dirt asap.  I clean the brushes and take any string out of wheels.  If you do that, it will last a long time.

  10. Lexie from MI writes about Smooth Away:

My grandma bought me the off brand of this and, while it worked great on my upper lip hair, my skin feels like it's on fire. I'm assuming it will stop by tomorrow. I've yet to use it on my arms and legs, however, it does seem like a common sense thing to trim it first. The only complaint I have for it is the burning sensation and how long it takes. However, now I don't have to worry about having more arm hair than my boyfriend.

  11. Sandra from on writes about point and paint:

I was very excited to see this in store and thought I want to paint my bathroom and I don't want to waste alot of time on it. WELL, I have wasted 2 hours so far and I am only done one coat. The little purple thing that is in little grooves that you get the pain off of falls out of of the grooves everytime you try to put paint on the item. So you have to lift it out with your fingers and put in back int he track. It doesn't really go around things like it shows on TV either. I will have to go around the room with a small angled brush and do it all. I am upset with myself that I believed this ad and spent $29.00 on it. I will now know if it looks to good to be true it IS...........Basic paint and roller will win out everytime.

  12. Tom & Barb from NY writes about Swivel Sweeper:

We first saw this product on TV and though it was too good to be true, but we attempted to order it via the phone number provided on the commercial. We were not pleased with how the conversation was going on the phone so we never purchased it. We later saw an older version of the swivel sweeper on sale at a discount store and we decided to purchase it. We were so pleased with how it performed we went back and purchased another one. We later purchased the G2 swivel sweeper at another discount store and all three are still making life easier for us. We have a German Shepard, a Collie and a Himalayan cat and all three animals have total access to the entire house - hair is a biggie! Though this is NOT a vacumn and you shouldn't confuse that issue - it picks up the animal hair right along with kitty litter and other small debris. For the price you can't beat this product. However, hair does get tangled up in the brushes and if not maintained, which means cleaned - just like you have to do on some very expensive vacumns - I could see how it may cause an issue or problem down the road. Emptying and cleaning this product is extremly easy and anyone with half a brain can assemble, maintain and use this product without any difficulties. Living in western New York this summer has proven to be extremely hot and humid and pulling out the vacumn cleaner isn't on our list of top priorities, however, using these sweepers have helped us maintain a clean home without sweating. Drawback is - you don't really get any exercise using this product so those calories you use to burn with the regular vacumn isn't going to take place. Hopefully the heat and sweat you get elsewhere will do the trick. As a final note - we are not in any way connected to any business making money on the sale of these products. I don't even like the company, but the product, for the price is excellent and anyone not rating the product high either as other issues or simply misunderstood what the intent of the product was. That's our two cents - hope it helps you decide.

  14. ms r from ca writes about swivel sweeper g2:

I love it. Have 1 upstairs/1 downstairs. I charge is for 1 hour (lasts me 45 min like it says) Just like a regular vacuum cleaner, you have to clean out the STRING or anything that gets rapped up in the turning mechanisms. Thats why it was spitting out the dirt. Hey, i hear it only lasts 2 years. That's OK with me. Its not like it is a $200 vacuum. Love it. In fact, gonna go and vacuum up some dog hair and cat hair.

  15. larry from ar writes about work gt lithium ion trimmer:

Works well...light.... easy to use...cuts and edges good... However, You will only get about 25 min. cut time per charge. It will NOT replace your gas trimmer for large jobs but for the average homeowner it should work for you. Long term reliability? Only time will tell.

what a piece of junk. I got two of them (buy 1 get 1 free)and both of them broke on the very first time I tried using them. The line broke on the first one, with no instructions on how to replace it. On the 2nd one the screw that keep the rod extended fell apart. My advice to anyone thinking about buying this is "Dont do It".

I bought the Ped Egg @ Target & love it. I use it for the calluses on the sides of my big toes. I haven't gotten rid of them yet, but it does a great job of taking off the top layer of dead skin. The only problem I have with it is that I keep misplacing it. Would recommended it to anyone.

Hard to get down the sink drain....used a few times. Last time I used it, the end that pulls the hair out of the drain came off inside the drain. Happened after three uses the same day I bought it. Had no problem with the shower snake. However, I returned it to the store an hour after I bought it and it broke.

I love this sweeper. I have never had a problem with the battery. I bought mine about a year ago and my son broke the handle so I bought another one the battery from the original black model fits in the new one. I do think that the magnetic bar inside the sweeper comes in handy when you loose a screw it will catch it and you can retreive lost stuff before you dump it. The other magnet is cool to store it too.

I bought a water jet its not very powerfull as far as moving grass leaves and debre on sidewalks and driveways pretty good for washing cars spraying high windows ect. I give it a 5 stars out of 10. Its your chouce whether you purchace one for yourself or not. Not bad construction and valve pretty sturdy but the handle never seems to be where you can hold it and have the fan spray come out flat to the ground.

  26. Ryan from FL writes about HD Vision Sunglasses:

The Blu-blockers are back, only in a less intensity of what you bought them for in a convenience store 15 years ago for $5. They might be good driving glasses on an overcast day, but they don't cut out any glare so they are not good as sunglasses. Also, they try to trick you into siging for "free gas" or such scams when they call to tell you they are on their way (which took over a month btw) which cost you big in the long run if you accept them because you are charged later on your credit card that you used to purchase your HD glasses. Just go to a convenience store and buy them off the rack if you want Blu-blockers. They will be better than these HD glasses.

  27. Duane from TX writes about Instant fisherman:

Instant fisherman is an instant piece of junk. My son loves to fish. In fact, he would rather have his line in the water than doing anything else. When he saw this product, he couldn't wait to purchase it. He used his own money that he saved up from working odd jobs and allowance. I cautioned him about buying items from infomercials but he was sure that he wanted it and said that it had to be a good product because of the 10 year warrantee. I went to the web site and couldn’t believe the ordeal I had to go through just to order the stupid thing. There were multiple pop-up pages asking to purchase additional items and the shipping and handling charges were outrages. I looked for a way to cancel the order, but that is not an option once you start down the path and they get the credit card info @ the beginning of the process. And buy one get one free, what a joke. My son ended up paying $63.74. The day my son received the package in the mail, he had to go try it out. I took him down to a nearby fishing spot and, well it work just ok. It seemed very cheaply made and was not smooth as you would suppose for what it cost. The second time he went to use the product, it would not cast more than 10 feet. What a let down for a boy who loves the sport of fishing. This company should be run out of business. My hope is that this review will stop at least one person for making the same mistake. We are within our 30 days, so we will be able to get our money back minus shipping and handling, $39.90 out of $63.74. Hopefully the return will go better than the purchase, but somehow I doubt that it will.

  29. Harold Stinnett from VA writes about Worx GT cordless trimmer:

WORX GT WG151.5 18-Volt Lithium Ion Cordless Electric String Trimmer/Edger With Quick Charger (Lawn & Patio) I bought the LWG151X1P from the worx infomercial. I was impressed with the 3 football thing even though I knew it was probably a stretch. However, I thought if it could only do a third of that I could live with 600 feet or more of trimming. Well, did I get an eye opener. What you really get on a charge is 15 min of light trimming and maybe 100 to 150 feet. I can't live with that as I would need five or six batteries in my pocket to do my work. Further the item is built more like a toy than a tool. All plastic and wimpy at that and that was the disappointment. Now came the aggravation. I called the worx customer service line and explained my position and that I wanted to exercise the 30 day return option. The rep. offered me a refund of the shipping cost to keep it and I declined. So she said that she would send an (RMA) return merchandise authorization, to send it back and I would have to pay an additional $14.42 to return it. I agreed as I really needed a good tool and had already bought a new gas unit. She said that UPS would send me a label with a return number to send it back in 3-5 business days. Four days later I called again and I was told that maybe I should wait another few days, so I did. I called again a week later and was told that they had sent through e-mail the label that I need. Problem is I did not receive and e-mail. She proceeded to say that I should try to track the e-mail and try to find it. Maybe it had went into my trash box or something. I ask to speak to the supervisor and she started machine gun talking without stopping and that it was my problem to find it. I hung up and contacted my attorney generals office and filed a complaint. I see the game stall and use up the 30 days. So I guess I could say, choose something else from anyone else and it will probably be a better choice. This company is a toy, like their products.

I got mine from Sally's Beauty Supply for $9.99. I'm a lifeguard and need something for when I need a little touch up before I'm on my shift. It works really well! It does take a while to get rid of all the hair but makes your legs extremely soft. Recommend for a grab and go, but not a frequent solution.

I should have listened to the scam review website when they said this company was a scam! The coach called me but turned out to be more up selling of other products such as a website which you have to pay a hosting fee plus your monthly member fee. The products don't sell themselves because most people thought it was expensive. They can buy alot of that stuff at Walmart for way less even with a big discount from me. As an unhappy customer they refused to stop billing me. They get their $400.00 I get nothing. That is how they make their money from un-suspecting consumers who are hoping to make an extra income. I say buyer beware!

My daughter just got this from ross. She charged it and used it for a few minutes at her house then wanted me to try it at mine so brought it over. I tried to use it but after a few minutes it stopped. So i put it away thinking the battery had died. I later  tried it once again and it started right up again as if it had been newly charged then ran for a few seconds...and died...again.  What a piece of crap. She spent $30 for this thing. I told her it is defective and to return it IMEDIATELY ,and get a regular vacuum for that money.(she needed something for their trailer).I don't even want to give it  a 1 star but i am stuck having to, it does NOT deserve any stars for performance,or manufacturing.Maybe  5 star rating for junk.

Ok, heres the deal...you definately will still need to tape...does not get close enough to the edges and if you try to get it too close will get paint on your trim...so Do tape. Like everyone said about the pole, the pole concept is garbage, spins out of control, and does not stay on. But on the upside, it does paint superfast and was not very streaky for me, maybe I had good paint, a little touch up of a second coat, not too bad. You DO need a brush for corners and edges, but I like that the tray is compact enough to carry around with me while I was painting the room, and the ceiling was a breeze with the handheld part while I was standing on a chair. Didnt tape the first room I did because it said no tape needed and spent more time cleaning up paint off the trim than painting. But I will tape with the next room so it should be a breeze. Overall I like it alot, as long as I do the prep work on the next room. Very easy for a divorced mom like myself to use. Definately drips less than a roller.
