A waste of money! Very sticky and difficult to use. Only removed some of the hair which was painfully ripped out by the roots. Also removed some skin. I was in agony for days and had a horrible rash. Wish I could give it zero stars.

I would prefer that Nad's go on easier...the cold version doesn't spread too well. But as for hair removal I got 100% what I wanted. I use it regularly.

I used to use the heated kind and loved it... worked real well...when I ran out the only kind I could find was the No Heat kind...tried it and it doesn't work AT ALL...they should go back to the original stuff they made...won't recommend it to anyone the way the company's making it now...

Yikes, everybody! I'm astounded that so many people find that this doesn't work - I had no problems at all. It DOES hurt a bit, like so many others already said, but the pain lessens after the first cloth-pull. Like with most anything else, the first time is always the strongest. :) So I wouldn't put too much concern toward what's said by someone that HATES it the first time they try it!

Horrible. Doesn't work. I tried it multiple times on multiple areas with the hair at various lengths. It did not work AT ALL for me. It hurt but it did not actually remove the hair whatsoever. I could deal with the pain (even though the commercial claims it doesn't hurt) if it actually worked.. but it doesn't do anything. Just yank on your hair and it will have the exact same effect.

  8. On December 27, 2009  from OH wrote this review:

This product was extremely difficult to use. It was sticky and made a mess everywhere for me. I could not spread it on my skin without warming it up in the microwave. I know Nad's claims you don't have to heat it, but I could get it to work any other way! After applying it to my skin i gave it a rip and off came SOME hair, followed by lots of pain. I'm all for pain if the job gets done, but with this gel it didn't. I kept retrying to get the hairs I missed of my first attempts, but I came out very unsuccessful. This product is a hassle and one would be better off to schedule an appointment at a local spa because at home waxing with Nad's is a total nightmare.

I used this product when I lived in Houston and I loved it...there was one downside however, it crystallized on the last quarter or so. Then I moved to POS and guess what, I opened and used it, and two weeks later the wax started to crystallize. So I now have an almost full tub and a new unopened tub that I can't use because of this problem. It can't be because POS is tropical because Houston was just as hot, sometimes even hotter. So how do it use it now?

  10. On August 9, 2009  from OR wrote this review:

This product did hurt (of course since I was ripping your hair out by the roots), and does not remove all of the hair, so I had to go over the same places over the course of several days. However, unlike the wax you have to heat up, I have never had this product remove layers of my skin along with the hair. Plus, it is very easy to clean up, no need for special oils. I found that if I use it every once in awhile, and save the reusable strips, (the package doesn't come with enough) I have less hair to worry about shaving.

  13.   from CO wrote this review:

MY FRIENDS AND I LOVE IT!!!!! It works better than any other wax. I'd say it hurts less. It is messy, and of course it hurts, but that comes with any liquid hair removal system. I use this wax all the time. I can use one strip 5-6 times. The unsatisfied people probably: a. Have sensitive skin, causing bumps/bruises b. Warmed it up too much c. Have too short hair d. Waxed in a sensitive location the first time. Bikini/underarms almost always BLEED on the first go no matter what system is used to pull hair (because the follicle is so thick). e. Didn't follow instructions-if you use all the creams and washes they give you, you'll get great results. I recommend this to everyone.

  14.   from AL wrote this review:

This stuff was awful! My mother in law bought some a long time ago when it first came out. She's diabetic, and it did not say not to use it on her, so I did. She got a horrible rash, not so great for a diabetic. Then, I tried it. I figured it was just her. I got horrible large pimples, like when you get bitten by red ants, they were big puss filled things, all over my legs! Go buy wax strips. They don't work so well for me either, but, at least I'm not fighting a nasty looking rash.

  15.   from FL wrote this review:

Horrible the only thing that was removed was my skin. I tried it again several months later since I thought maybe the hair on my legs were not long enough and since it was winter I didn't really have a problem with letting it grow. Nope just as bad as before and I actually ended up with bruises on my leg from trying to use it.

  16.   from NJ wrote this review:

Bought it at a local drug store. The gel is very messy and you can't reuse the cloth strips more than once if you're covering a large area. I've never tried waxing before, and after using Nad's I don't think I will ever because it HURT (the fine print says that any pain you experience will subside as you continue to use it). I ended up reverting back to the razor because it simply didn't work. Also, the jar it comes in doesn't do a very good job at storage. About two months after I bought it, the gel started to crystallize. Waste of my time and money.

I consider this product a waste of money. It's gooey and sticky and yes, it does hurt! Save your money and go to a salon instead or just shave. Better yet, get your hair lazered!

Don't waste your money. It simply does not work. I tried it and after no results, tried it on an area of my arm, which does have longer hair. After following directions to the letter, still no results. Utter waste of time and money

  22.   from GA wrote this review:

This product works IF you use it exactly as directed. Of course, ANY product that removes hair at the root level is going to hurt...DUH!!! There are several downsides to the product however. You can't use the cloth strips for more than one application on each side (without washing and drying) or it won't adhere like it should, it is a bit messy and sticky so a shower afterward is warranted and worst of all, if unused the product will crystallize in the tub because of all of the sugar in it making it worthless. For those downsides...not for the pain, I give it a lesser rating.
