Eggies are the easiest and quickest way to cook hard-boiled eggs. Amazingly, they cooks eggs without the shells. To use it, simply crack the egg and pour it in an Eggie, then boil on your stovetop. After boiling, just twist and serve without peeling any shell.

I bought Eggies because I have never been able to consistently boil eggs and I hate peeling them That is why I like them. It is time consuming to set them up and then wash them after use but it is worth it to get the finished product. One thing I really do not like is that the eggs come out flat on the top so I rarely get two halves for develled eggs

I didn't like this product at all. The reason being is there are a number of parts to put together for each eggie. You put the egg in, put on the collar, then screw on the top (I think that's right, if I remember correctly). Cleaning them takes time. You take them apart and clean each piece. This gets old real quick. I found these at the dollar store, so I didn't pay a lot of money for them (thank goodness) and ended up throwing them in the trash. I'd rather go back to the old fashioned way of just cooking the eggs in boiling water.

They are horrible. Not only is it time consuming to grease them, put them together without getting egg all over the counter, and take them apart to clean, but they will always leak into the water that they boil in. I threw them away after 3 times. Is definitely not easier that peeling.

The Eggies do work as far as making sure that the eggs are peeled and there is no egg shell left on them. It also saves you work (not really that much time though) It takes quite a bit of time to use though because you have all of these necessary steps that you have to do. Overall I'm going to give it 3 out of 5 stars because they do work as in getting the eggs peeled, but it takes a lot of time to prepare and cleanup can be a mess because there's so many parts of the Eggies to wash.

I got the eggies as a gift, a complete waste of time, you have to follow directions to the letter on these things. I personally don't like them .

The product works pretty much as advertised, but is much more time consuming than the commercial would lead you to believe. It's faster to boil eggs in a pan and peel them.

i did not like this product. the product would fall to its side in the boiling water and the egg would cook like that, on it's side. I agree that not having to peel an egg is WONDERFUL, but the prep (greasing the inside of the plastic shells) and clean up (egg is not easy to clean up) is not worth it, in my opinion.

I tried using these several times. They are time consuming, and do not work well. The parts are all plastic have to be greased then put together, the plastic parts do not go together easily. Definately more trouble than they are worth. If you want to try them you can have mine.

They were horrible. Takes so long to put together and clean after and they also leaked into the water no matter what I did. I threw them in the garbage after 4 tries.

  11. On January 4, 2012  from PA wrote this review:

I think this is the worse product ever. My children and I eat lots of boiled eggs and I thought this would make life a bit easier. I used it one time and returned it. The commercial makes it look simple and easy. It's everything but simple. It's easier/quicker to boil and egg in a pot of water and peel it. Each eggie is 6 pieces. The two pieces they show, the center piece that screws on, the top unscrews as well and then there are two washers. The egg takes twice as long to boil through the plastic and then there is egg whites in all the crevices. Clean up is very tedious. I have a microwave egg boiler and I prefer to use that.

  12. On January 3, 2012  from TX wrote this review:

Worst product ever. Takes about 20 minutes to assemble, must be coated with cooking oil, impossible to crack the egg and pour it into a small opening and then try to screw the greasey small plastic cap on tight so that it does not leak when placed in boiling water. Makes a large mess and takes another 20 to 30 minutes to clean up. One time and in the trash...

  13. On January 1, 2012  from FL wrote this review:

Completely dissatisfied with the Eggies. Expecting to work just as seen on TV commercial adds, I went on a hunt to purchase the Eggies. While they were easy to use, they did not work. I encountered two problems: 1- they leaked from the middle rind, the same way an egg leaks if it breaks while boiling 2- the lids from some of the Eggies just popped-off while boiling. The lids pop off with a significant amount of pressure. So after being hit in the face by a popping lid, I decided the Eggies did not deserve a second chance and returned them. Definately do not recommend this product until until it's design has been improved and it has been made safe for users.

At first I was happy with product. On first try one did not seal and top popped off, others worked fine. Okay 5 left. After 3 uses 3 others which was on right and tight, the tops popped off and everytime after that. Cheap product, save your money. Mine went in the trash as bought from a As Seen on Tv store where refund was only 7 days.

  15. On September 5, 2011  from Texas wrote this review:

This product is complete TRASH. Each unit has four parts. There is no way to screw the part together wherenthey do not leak. The add on t.v. says non-stick. The only direction is printed on the plastic bag that all the parts are in, and it tells you to coat all the parts in veqtable oil. Non-stick?? The opening on the top of the EGGIE is to small for a large egg to go thru. The mess you have after trying to break any size egg and pour it into the hole on the top of container is very very large. The Eqqies leak in the boiling water, water gets inside the container and the egg whites leak out into the water. Really creates a mess. Took 13 minutes and then had to scoop the eggs out with a spoon. The mess afterwords was a lot worse than hardboiled eggs. I will peal eggs. Threw the EGGIES in the trash. I bought these at my local HEB for $9.99. Do not waste your money...

The product works as advertised as long as you follow the rules. You must make sure all joints are tight, the water cannot boil too hard and they must be greased. Cleanup is a bit tedious, but it beats peeling. The times are a bit short. A 3 minute egg will take 5 etc.
