I really don't see much difference between the Chef Basket and my deep fryer. In fact, I use my fryer a lot more than this thing because it's much easier to handle. It also does a better job cooking since it's thicker. What a waste of money this was especially since the Chef Basket metal weave came undone within a few weeks.

I use Chef Basket to cook fried chicken and for that it does just fine. Furthermore, I only use it every now and then because I don't eat too much fried foods. I have read all the bad reviews about it and am just doing my best to treat it carefully, like since I already bought it.

Chef Basket didn't last for a very long. After three weeks of use, I noticed a wire popping out the basket. When cooking pasta, know that you shouldn't use thin, angel or spaghetti, or even elbow macaroni because they'll just fall out of the basket. I just use it as a colander now.

Bought it after watching the informercial and boy I wasted 20 dollars. The whole concept of it seemed cool enough for me to get sucked in but as far as results, Naw, good old fashioned pot and water will do the trick better. I tried it with spagetti noodles and I had some falling out. Not saying it won't work for others but it just wasn't worth the money.

This item is terribly made and not worth the purchase. I mostly use Chef Basket to cook lumpia Shanghai for when my Filipino friends come to visit. It's also ok for cooking up some cracked crab. However, I have some real complaints about the quality of this product. The basket handles have started to come off, and the frame is poorly sealed. The only reason it's lasted this long is that my son soldered the unit together. My advice is to buy something else of better quality.

It's true that Chef Basket is easy to store, but it's sure not the most recommended basket for cooking spaghetti, macaroni or noodles. It will only deep fry big chunks of meat and boil large sizes of vegetables. I don't think that it's even well made enough to last for a long time.

Would have loved to try this product out, but because of the double billing, add-on products, and confusing on-line ordering system with no chance to double-check your order before charging my credit card, I called to complain/cancel immediately. The customer service rep told me he could not access the order because it was too new, but if I called back in 48 hours there would be no problem and that it would be too soon for my card to be charged. Untrue...48 hours later the card was charged and package was shipped. I received a cancellation # and was advised to write it on the package and place it back in mail RETURN TO SENDER. So far it has been 22 days and I haven't received a credit to my credit card. CAUTION: DO NOT ORDER FROM TELEBRANDS!

I first tried using Chef Basket for spaghetti, and it was very disappointing. The pasta kept falling out of it. However, with vegetables it works just fine. But placing heavy food inside is not recommended because the basket is not that sturdy. It's made of thin wire that I think will easily break.

The Chef Basket I ordered came in a timely manner. I tried it as soon as I got it out of the box. As a colander and a deep frying basket, it works perfectly. Too bad it doesn't do justice to pasta, like spaghetti or angels' hair. However, I like how it folds quickly for easy storage.

Chef basket is a great idea, but the problem is it's not made well. I don't think it will last very long. Furthermore, the one I got has a wire sticking out that caught my hand. I am not recommending this product.

The only thing I know how to cook is fried foods. I love cooking them in the Chef basket because they turn out golden brown and perfect. Other than that you can use it for boiling, steaming, washing, and a lot more. I'm happy with it and I hope that you will be too.

What has this company done to address all of the complaints about their website ordering process which doubles and triples peoples orders with no way to review or cancel the order and call center people who don't understand what is going on or speak proper english. There are a lot of complaints out there about the ordering and shipping process that need to be addressed.

I am very happy with Chef Basket. It does a lot in the kitchen. It works as a strainer, colander, and is great for frying. I also use it for blanching and steaming vegetables. The best part is how easy storage is. I just fold it flat then place it in the drawer. I bought another one for my sister.

Chef Basket is one of the most practical kitchen tools I've used. I am happy with what I can do with it, like deep frying and steaming. It can also be a strainer for washing fruits and vegetables. However, it doesn't work well for spaghetti and macaroni because the holes are too large.

The Chef Basket is quite remarkable. I've been using it to cook almost every day for the last week since it arrived at my doorstep. So far, I've cooked potatoes, vegetables and pastas with Chef Basket. It definitely does what it says in the infomercial, and the handles always stays cool. The book that came with is helpful and contains some great cooking ideas. I plan to use it for deep frying chicken and tempura. It's really just a simple kitchen utensil that has little effect on your cooking style. The best thing about Chef Basket is it provides easy handling of hot foods. In a way, I suppose it isnt really even necessary, but it's so helpful I didn't want to pass it up. On that note, Im super glad that I bought it.
