Do not work at all, in fact I believe my load has MORE static in it when I use these. My 9 year old even commented on more static than without anything at all.

These work really well. I haven't used any fabric softener since I got them, which means saving money and less chemicals in the water. Also, the clothes come out of the dryer quicker, so you need to watch or you will overdry them. Clothes do have less wrinkles and creases than with liquid fabric softener. Good product.

I've been using for 10 years and love them. They are particularly useful when drying sheets and towels because they separate the cloth while tumbling - things don't get stuck together wet. They have about a 5 year life span and I always replace them...I use 3 or 4 in my dryer. A little noisy sometimes, but worth it!

This product seemed to work okay as advertised but it did eventually wear holes in my new towels. No new holes since we discontinued using them. Our dog loves them too and so do the kids.

Other than being very loud when spinning around with the clothes in the dryer this product did not work as promised. My dog however has adopted the dryer balls as his most favourite toy ever.

I didn't notice much of a reduction in drying time but my clothes were definately softer. Then I realized why. The balls are beating the clothes. The lint screen is much fuller and many of my clothes were ruined as the seams and edges frayed. The cost of replacing clothing offsets any energy or softener savings.
